i used 1800petmeds to order them some advantage... and applied it to them... hopefully soon the fleas will be under control and there will be no more scratching, miserable kitties, and fleas in my bed...
kolohe is of course good about whatever we do to him, so the application of flea medicine was not a problem for him... when we did prada, one little drop of the flea meds and she whigged out... you would've thought we dropped acid on her... after chasing her, catching her, wrapping her up in a blanket, we finished putting the dose on her.... god she's such a brat...
moving on, i wanted to let those out there know to only use flea products that are sold through your veterinarians... over the counter stuff such as biospot, zodiacspot, and hartz can be hazardous to your pets...
we had a lady come in one time with a stray cat that she found who started having seizures... we examined the cat, ran blood tests, and were a little baffled to why the cat was having these seizures... later we found out that she had put flea medication on the cat... a very generic brand that she had bought from the store... the chemicals in the flea medication were toxic to the cat... we felt bad for not only the cat, but for the lady who thought she was being a good samaritan by taking in this cat and trying to care for him... we treated him (which was somewhat costly) and he turned out ok... and fortunately the lady who took him in still wanted him and paid for our services without any complaints...
brands that i trust and recommend is frontline and advantage... these brands of flea meds can be bought over the counter and online without a prescription...
